Terms of Use

Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Saygin Saman, who operates VIXENTIO ("VIXENTIO", "we", "us"). They cover this website, the VIXENTIO Mac app (the "App", including versions released under its earlier name) and the optional account, Sync, sharing and AI service (the "Service"), including the web editor and shared-link pages. By downloading or using any of them, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use VIXENTIO.

Who can use VIXENTIO

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live. If you use VIXENTIO for an organization, you confirm that you're allowed to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Your license to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms. You may not:

  • copy, modify, sell or distribute the App, except as the law allows;
  • reverse engineer the App, except where the law permits it despite this restriction;
  • remove or change any proprietary notices; or
  • use the App or Service to break the law or anyone else's rights.

Your content

Everything you create or capture (screenshots, annotations, Boards, notebooks and instructions) is yours. We claim no ownership of it.

When you use Sync, sharing or the AI features, you give us permission to store, copy, process and transmit your content only as needed to provide them to you, for example to keep it on your devices, keep earlier versions, show it to the people you share it with, or create an AI answer. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for comments and edits you've made in documents other people own, which stay with those documents.

You're responsible for what you capture, share and send. Only use material you have the right to use, and redact anything sensitive before you share or send it.

Accounts

An account is optional. If you create one, keep your password secure and your information accurate. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@vixentio.ai if you think someone else is using it.

Plans: Free, Pro, Max and Team

VIXENTIO is free to use. The Free plan includes unlimited screenshots and annotations, sending to coding agents, and up to 3 Boards and 5 notebooks. Anything you already have stays yours to open, edit, export, send and delete, even past those limits.

Pro removes the Board and notebook limits, includes the AI features and includes a monthly allowance of Vix Credits for cloud runs. It's a subscription that costs USD 29.99 a month. Max includes everything in Pro with a larger monthly allowance of Vix Credits, and costs USD 79.99 a month. Team is for a team's shared work: every seat for the team's owner and its editors is paid, the owner's included, at USD 39.99 per seat a month; commenters and viewers are free and don't take a seat. A team without a Team subscription has only its owner's seat, so adding an editor needs a paid seat. Each plan can also be paid yearly, at 20% off twelve months: USD 287.88 a year for Pro, USD 767.88 for Max and USD 383.88 per seat for Team. A yearly plan includes the same monthly allowance of Vix Credits, given every month. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year, as you chose, until you cancel. Tax is added at checkout where it applies.

Free trials. If you've never subscribed to Pro or Max, you can start with a 7-day free trial, once per account. A team owner's first Team subscription starts with a 14-day free trial, once per account. You add a payment method when a trial starts. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your first payment is charged when it ends. A trial includes none of the plan's monthly allowance of Vix Credits.

Who you pay. You subscribe from the App or the web editor, on Stripe's checkout page. Your purchase may be sold through Link, LLC ("Link"), a Stripe affiliate that then acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, tax, receipts and transaction support under its own customer terms. Your receipt shows who sold your subscription. We remain responsible for the App and the Service.

Canceling. You can cancel at any time: choose Manage Subscription in the App's account settings, which opens Stripe's billing page, or manage your order at link.com if Link sold it. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for (or the end of your trial), and then your account returns to the Free plan (a team's paid seats end too, and nobody already in the team is removed). Nothing you've created is deleted.

Refunds. Payments aren't refundable for partial months or years or unused time, except where the law or the merchant of record's terms give you a right to a refund. Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately, without a refund for the rest of the period.

Failed payments and price changes. If a renewal payment can't be collected after retries, the subscription ends and your account returns to the Free plan. If we change the price of a plan or a seat, we'll tell you before the new price applies to your subscription, so you can cancel first.

AI features

The AI features are included with Pro and Max and need a signed-in account. They work only when you ask, on the material you choose, and every result is a preview until you apply it. The Privacy Policy explains what is sent and what we keep.

Fair use. The AI features don't use Vix Credits or any other usage charge. To keep the features available for everyone, each account has fair-use limits, such as requests per minute, requests running at once, and daily requests, tokens and images. We may adjust these limits. When you reach one, try again later.

Results can be wrong. AI results are generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Check them before you rely on them, especially code, SQL, math, research and anything with legal, medical, financial or safety consequences. The AI service itself doesn't run code, change files in your projects or start agents.

Your content and results. You keep ownership of what you send. As between you and us, you may use the results as you like, subject to these Terms and the law, and others may receive similar results. To create results, the material you choose is processed by our AI provider, Anthropic.

Acceptable use. Don't use the AI features to create unlawful or harmful content, to get around their limits or safety checks, or in ways that break Anthropic's Usage Policy.

Availability. The AI features rely on third-party services. Their features, models and limits may change, and they may sometimes be unavailable. Everything in VIXENTIO that isn't AI keeps working without them.

Coding agents and other tools

The App can hand screenshots, instructions and context to tools made by others, such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. You use those tools under your own accounts with their providers, and their terms, privacy policies and charges apply. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what they do with what you send or the changes they make to your projects. Review an agent's work before you rely on it.

Developer Platform

The Developer Platform, including live component selection, agent tasks, visual review and publishing to GitHub, is provided to teams through onboarding and may come with its own order or agreement. When you use it:

  • agent tasks run your own installed Claude Code inside your project, under your Claude account and at your cost;
  • depending on the permission mode you choose, the agent and the App can edit files, run your project's commands, and commit, push, open and merge pull requests on GitHub using your own credentials, some of them without asking you each time;
  • you're responsible for choosing a mode you're comfortable with, keeping your own backups and version control, and reviewing changes before you accept, publish or merge them.

Cloud workspaces. If your team's owner turns them on for a project, agent tasks can also run on a short-lived cloud workspace we provide, with a GitHub token for the repository the owner chose. The agent reaches the model either with Vix Credits or with your team's own Anthropic API key (used at your team's cost under Anthropic's terms). Don't use cloud workspaces to mine cryptocurrency, attack or scan other systems, send spam, or store or run anything unlawful; we may stop a run or turn cloud workspaces off for a team that does.

Vix Credits ("Vix"). Cloud runs are paid with Vix Credits, which we price at 50 Vix to USD 1 (USD 0.02 each) when we work out what a run costs.

  • What a run costs: the model's tokens at Anthropic's list prices (not charged with your team's own key), the workspace's compute time and a small fixed amount per run, times a service margin. The prices and the margin in force when a run starts apply to it; the App shows an estimate before you start and each run's cost afterwards.
  • Models: by default (Auto) we choose the model for each step. The person who starts a run may choose a specific model instead; a more expensive model uses more Vix, and the App says about how much before the run starts.
  • Holds and caps: a run reserves its cap when it starts (200 Vix unless its starter chooses another, from 25 to 5,000) and stops when the cap is used up. What it doesn't use goes back when it ends. A run can't start without enough Vix, or past the monthly limit your team's owner set.
  • Included Vix: Pro includes 1,300 Vix a month, Max 4,200 Vix and Team 1,800 Vix for each paid seat. A team's included Vix are pooled; a Pro or Max allowance goes to one of the owner's teams (the oldest). A trial includes none of them. Included Vix are for the month they're given and don't roll over.
  • Welcome Vix: a new account gets 150 Vix once, valid for 12 months.
  • Bought Vix: your team's owner can buy packs of 500 Vix for USD 10, 2,600 Vix for USD 50 and 10,800 Vix for USD 200 on Stripe's checkout page (tax added where it applies). Bought Vix last 12 months from purchase and are used after the month's included ones, oldest first.
  • Vix aren't money: they have no cash value and can't be transferred, sold or exchanged. They aren't refundable, except where the law gives you a right to a refund, or where we refund a run that failed because of us. Unused Vix end when they expire or when your team or account is deleted.

Developer Platform features may change as the product develops.

Sharing

When you share a document, the people you share it with can see it, and editors can change it. You can change or revoke access at any time; revoking takes effect on their next request. Don't use sharing to publish content you don't have the right to share. We may remove shared content or disable links that break these Terms or the law.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to:

  • store or share content that is unlawful, infringing or harmful;
  • try to access other people's accounts or data;
  • interfere with, overload or probe the Service's security; or
  • resell or provide the Service to others without our permission.

Feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Names and logos

The VIXENTIO name and logo are ours. These Terms don't grant you any right to use them. Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and GitHub belong to their respective owners.

Disclaimers

VIXENTIO is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that VIXENTIO will be uninterrupted or error-free, that Sync will never lose data, or that changes suggested or made by AI or coding agents will be correct, so keep backups of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, including losses caused by changes that AI or coding agents make to your projects. Our total liability for any claim relating to VIXENTIO is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Ending your use

You can stop using VIXENTIO at any time and delete your account in the App's settings. We may suspend or end access to the Service if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, and we'll tell you when we reasonably can. The sections on your content, refunds, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll update the dates at the top of this page and give account holders notice in the App or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use VIXENTIO after that means you accept the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled by the state and federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.
